About CREdibly SKEptical: Curious, Not Credulous

CREdibly SKEptical is designed as an educational site that takes a curious but clear-eyed look at paranormal claims, conspiracy theories, UFO and UAP stories, and other bits of pseudoscience that tend to float around the internet. Instead of jumping straight to “that’s fake” or “it must be aliens,” here we try to slow things down and ask a simple question: what does the evidence actually say?

Content here is meant to be accessible to anyone curious about paranormal claims, conspiracy theories, and pseudoscience, especially readers who are open to examining evidence, asking questions, and occasionally rethinking ideas they may already believe. The goal is to challenge claims, not people, and to invite thoughtful, curious, open-minded exploration rather than telling anyone what they “have” to think.

Topics are broken down with (hopefully) enough background to make sense of the claims without assuming a science degree or bookshelves full of the extraordinary. We try to keep the tone neutral and respectful, even when the ideas being examined get a little… ambitious.

The goal isn’t to mock belief or ruin anyone’s favorite mystery. It’s to show how extraordinary claims form, why they stick around, and evaluate them using basic logic, historical context, and scientific reasoning. Think of it as a friendly guide to asking better questions, spotting weak arguments, and separating “interesting story” from “supported by evidence,” without sucking all the fun out of being curious.

Lastly, this is a work in progress.  Most nights I'm editing and re-editing, adding new things and removing redundant pieces I've rewritten better.  I hope you enjoy reading as much I enjoyed writing.
